Book Synopsis:
This story was written for children who have lost someone they love through death. It is a charming story of a mother comforting her son with answers to the innocent questions of a child who has lost his father. The story is simple and direct and written in a loving, tender way. It was written with the sincere hope that it would bring peace to those who read it-even the grown-ups.
Autobiography:
Carol Kirk Witbeck has instructed children and teenage church groups for over 32 years. She served alongside her husband as a County 4H Youth Advisor and was employed by the Utah PTA helping to provide support to over 900 public schools. Currently she and her husband, Ned, are retired and living in their home in the beautiful mountains of Morgan Utah. Together they have two children and four grandchildren.
Carol finds great joy in new creative challenges. She loves to play her flute, write a little poetry, create works of art (of various sorts) for her family and friends, do a little quilting, and showing that she tries to reflect what she steadfastly believes, she has written a beautiful song about the Savior.
Like countless others, she has experienced the sorrow that follows the death of a loved one but has found solace in the understanding of a joyful reunion with them in the world to come.
