Co-written and directed by Maria Gabriela Cardenas, her directorial mystery thriller debut follows the story of Tony Cruz (Oscar Cardenas), an FBI agent currently working on tracking a serial killer case as he also grapples with memories of past trauma involving his sister's abduction and his mother's death. Working alongside his doctor, Doris Baxter (Selma Blair), he tries to overcome a rare condition that gives him an irrational fear of the dark so he could fulfill his job.
