A Gift from God is a story about Adam Clayton Dildy III; a young and successful African-American businessman who seems as if he has the world in the palm of his hands. Adam always gets what and who he wants - he's a Dildy by blood! However, Adam realizes that everyone does not move to the beat of his drum. The Dildy family is known throughout the south as hardworking men. Their company was started by their father and grandfather, the late Adam Clayton (A. C.) Dildy, Sr. Adam finds himself in a situation that he has never experienced - LOVE. He is head over heels in love with a young woman that seems to be giving him the cold shoulder! Her indifference to him is something he has never experienced before; and it drives him completely out of his mind!
