After two years of dedication, he moves on to secure his 'dream job', managing Asia marketing programs for the state and industry. After another two years of coordinating adventures in Asia, he is promoted to lead the international program. He becomes even more determined and spearheads the effort to re-position Alaska in the world market - a market that has been disrupted by competing forces. For years he labors tirelessly to help restore an industry to greatness. While he is successful in many of his efforts, political winds begin to turn against him. Finding himself in a compromised position, he chooses integrity over capitulation, and is driven from his position of authority to become a pariah. He achieves his dream but loses his career.
