A View From the Pews is a topical devotional set up to help you find specific subjects for those days when you just need a little guidance or encouragement. While daily devotions are a great way to start an average day, some days you just need something that touches you where you are right then.  This book was written as a love gift to the Redeemer of my soul. He has gifted me with a love affair with Him that has sometimes been a rocky path but He has always walked that path with me. While I may not have always felt Him beside me, I KNOW that He was there. I have no formal theological education. These are offerings from a layman to other layman in hopes that what I have learned may somehow make your path just a little less rocky. It helps to know that others have been where you are.  The Bible never promised us that our journey through life would be an easy one. We are warned repeatedly, that there will be tough times in this world but He, Jesus, has overcome the world.  Come journey with me through these pages and I pray you will grow to love the Lord with a whole new vision of His love for you.
