This book is written by Afshan Qureshi who is scholar of sociology, she did her M. Phil from Bahauddin Zakaria University Multan. The work for writing this book is based on observation. Community Development Department gave me an opportunity for observing different projects of Social Welfare Department. I found here many projects such as for helping the poor, for child welfare, for women welfare that to save the women from violence, health facilities, provide treatment facilities to poor and also old age home etc. I also saw there strategic positions, their objectives, their plans but I felt that there is something wrong or may be which strategic or plans are using for the betterment of people is not right here I gave some suggestions in respect of the betterment for people or for saving our future. After observation; I think about to write a book on these projects of Social Welfare Department and also about their facilities which are providing to people. I hope if we will adopt the right strategies then one day we will succeed.
