As Bob Tokarz becomes more ingrained in the contract work he does for the CIA, he moves further away from his moral upbringing. His life with Gabby becomes more complicated and at times just downright exhausting, but he continues to raise his three children in Orlando, Florida. Though he works full time for AT&T, his contract work with the CIA takes him away from his family, but closer to Gabby with each mission. While in France on a mission, he follows what he believes are instructions to act as an Instrument of His Will. His actions, done outside of the sanctions of the CIA, bring him more trouble than he wants, bringing terror to his heart, his soul, his family and his relationships.
