The I Ching can be interpreted in many different ways that claim to be the definitive accurate interpretation. I believe it is most important to look at it through the eyes of the people of Đông Sơn in order to arrive at the most accurate understanding of the Đông Sơn I Ching. Keeping this in mind, I compared and referenced other world religions that involving cosmology influences to attempt to verify my findings. In addition, I also looked at Vietnamese legends, folklore and ancient history to also provide sources of reference.
It is my hope that providing an understanding of the Ngọc Lũ I bronze drum will allow for an overall comprehension of the other circle-rod (yin yang) bronze drums of the Great Đông Sơn Family.
The Ngọc Lũ I bronze drum in particular, and Dongson drums in general are precious treasures of humanity and national treasures of Vietnam.
