Zed Abara, a young rider, flees on her horse, Alfie, after hearing unfavourable news from her parents. She and Alfie are unexpectedly taken hostage by aliens, as if things could possibly be worse! Zed will now have to contend with a four-armed, humourless green lady, a lion that can create snow, a robot that resembles a human skeleton, a trashcan that can speak every language save English, and a duck who believes he is a superhero in order for her to make it home. Is she going to be able to get home?
