He believed he was a man of faith, but it wasn't until his ambitions and pride were crushed, in a most dramatic way, that he discovered what living by faith really means. Growing up in a remote village on a Caribbean island, Glenroy Browne was introduced to Christian values by his grandmother and grew into a studious, hardworking man with aspirations to transform his nation's economy. One fateful day, he overlooked a small task, and in his haste did not heed the warning signs, until it was too late, and found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or did he? What happened next was nothing short of miraculous. Some would say unbelievable! Thus begins the journey of a man whose life was touched by an angel. GLENROY EDISON BROWNE hails from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and is a member of the Caribbean diaspora in Brooklyn, New York. He started his career in agronomy, earning degrees in agricultural science from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. His work took him to every Caribbean nation and as far away as Nigeria and Malawi, Africa. In 2013, Mr. Browne earned another degree, a B.A. in theology from the Bethel Bible College of the Caribbean, and the following year, he became a Minister of the Gospel, ordained by the New Testament Church of God (Tennessee). He helped to found and serves as the Executive Director of Dorcus Purse International, a nonprofit humanitarian organization created to assist trauma victims using wholistic, psychosocial, and spiritual approaches to health and wellness.Mr. Browne possesses a passion for ministry, especially teaching resiliency skills, and has many valuable spiritual lessons to share after surviving a near-fatal accident and travelling a long hard journey to recovery.
