Daemons have lived among humans and hellborns since the beginning of time. They were not evil as humans believed. They were simply the individuals who ensured that there was balance between good and evil. In Anguish's eyes, they had a job to do for all humans and hellborns, but they were not meant for more in life. At least that was what Anguish believed until he met Belladonna. She's the witch that changed his life. The only thing to stop them from having a life together is a daemon named Verelus, avidly looking for revenge.
