Tyrus considers a swineherd to be a ruler and The High Prefect doesn't want to listen to the squeals and grunts of his subjects but would rather dictate to the Dukes from behind the religious façade of the Temple of Kaal. The populace already seeks the favor of the Temple because of their ability to heal any illness, repair sight, and even restore limbs, for a price. Tyrus' crystals also allow him to combine the attributes of any creature and he is creating a new race of beings; the Bragetti, to lead an assault upon humanity. When the Dukes cease their petty squabbles and join together against a common enemy - Tyrus will be there to save them, and yoke them in bondage, under a common religion.Kazi Boku knows about the crystals and suspects foul play but can prove nothing against the Temple's ambitions. He is building a new settlement, erecting windmills, cabins, and a new inn while laying out the beginnings of a small farming community to be named Angus Town. He fears rogue packs of mercenaries and wild beasts and gathers a small force of retired soldiers for protection. It seems they won't be needed as the construction is going well and everyone is cozy for the winter and looking forward to planting in the spring. The village is officially sanctioned by the Duke and under his protection.Tyrus, however, wants a Bragetti army to march south and make an assault that will test their destructive power. They should reach Angus Town by winter's end.
