This United States Army publication, Army Regulation AR 600-55 The Army Driver and Operator Standardization Program (Selection, Training, Testing, and Licensing) May 2020, establishes standards, policies, and procedures for the selection, training, testing, and licensing of operators of Army Government-owned or Government-leased vehicles and equipment.
This regulation applies to the Regular Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated. It also applies to all Department of the Army Civilian employees, non-appropriated fund employees, Youth/Student Assistant Program employees, foreign nationals directly and indirectly employed by Department of the Army, and contractor personnel, where stated, operating Army vehicles and equipment. This regulation is applicable during full mobilization.
