Arber Bio Protectant uses an active ingredient that had been developed for use in large-scale agriculture and has adapted it for use by home growers. This ingredient, an extract of the Giant Knotwood plant (Reynoutria sachalinensis), offers protection without harsh or toxic ingredients. When this product is applied to a plant, the plant produces elevated levels of specific proteins and other compounds like phytoalexins, cell wall strengtheners, antioxidants, PR proteins and phenolics that serve as fungal and bacterial growth inhibitors This mode of action, called induced systemic resistance, uses Arber Bio Protectant as a catalyst for the plant to protect itself. Important notes: Can be applied up to and on the day of harvest. Safe for beneficial insects, bees, birds, pets and people. Significantly reduces the possibility of resistance. Use on vegetables, fruits, berries, houseplants, tree nuts, ornamental plants, trees, shrubs, roses and other flowers, bedding plants, hemp, foliage and tropical plants. Tips for Use: Apply prior to disease development or at the first sign of diseases and continue applying on a 7- to 10-day schedule until disease pressure subsides. Use only with pressurized hand-held sprayers, hose-end sprayers or spray trigger bottles. Do not allow spray to drift from application site. Do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight or for prolonged periods. Do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Apply in calm, dry weather to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area. Rinsing application equipment over the treated area will help avoid runoff to water bodies or drainage systems. Diseases Controlled: Anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.), Bacteria (Erwinia spp., Pseudomonas spp., Xanthomonas spp.), Bacterial Leaf Blight (Xanthomonas campestris), Bacterial Speck (Pseudomonas syringae pv. Tomato), Bacterial Spot (Xanthomonas spp.), Bean Rust (Uromyces appendiculatus), Black mold (Alternaria alternata) Black Rot/Black Crown Rot (Alternaria spp.), Black Spot of Rose (Diplocarpon rosea), Botrytis (Botrytis spp.), Botrytis Leaf Blight (Botrytis squamosa), Botrytis Neck Rot (Botrytis spp.), Brown Rot (Monilinia spp.), Early Blight (Alternaria solani), Gummy Stem Blight (Didymella bryoniae), Gray Mold (Botrytis cinerea), Greasy Spot (Mycosphaerella citri), Leaf Spots (Alternaria spp., Bipolaris spp., Cercospora spp. Septoria spp.), Onion Downy Mildew (Peronospora destructor), Onion Purple Blotch (Alternaria porri), Pin Rot (Alternaria/Xanthomonas complex), Phytophthora spp., Powdery Mildew (Uncinula necator, Erysiphe spp., Sphaerotheca spp., Oidiopsis taurica, Leveillula taurica, Podosphaera leucotricha, Oidium spp., Podosphaera spp.), Rust (Puccinia spp.), Sour Rot (Alternaria tenuis, Aspergillus spp., Botrytis cinerea, Cladosporium herbarum, Penicillium spp., Rhizopus arrhizus). Target Spot (Corynespora cassiicola), Walnut Blight (Xanthomonas campestris), and White mold (Sclerotinium rolfsii, Sclerotinium sclerotium, Sclerotinium spp. Sclerotinium trifolorium). Diseases Suppressed: Downy Mildew (Bremia lactucae, Peronospora spp., and Plasmopara viticola), Fire Blight (Erwinia amylovoram), Late Blight (Phytophthora infestans), Scab (Venturia spp.), Sclerotinia Head and Leaf Drop (Sclerotinia spp.).
