Originally telecast live from Symphony Hall, Boston on January 7, 1969, this once-in-a-lifetime performance features conductor Erich Leinsdorf leading the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and boasts an impressive cast including Beverly Sills as Zerbinetta (in a performance that brought Sills great acclaim) and Claire Watson as Ariadne. Also appearing are Benita Valente as Najade, Eunice Alberts as Druade, and Carole Bogard as Echo.
