DOODLE DIARY-
A guided art journal with prompts for girls and teens. Packed with fun drawing and doodle art prompts, colouring and arty activities to inspire creativity.
The perfect drawing gift for creative kids.
What's inside?
There is a fun creative drawing prompt on each double page spread. These are deliberately simple prompts to spark imagination and creativity without limiting what you create - for example incorporating a simple shape into a picture, drawing something enormous or a crazy hairstyle.
In addiition there are some doodle art pages to colour in a creative way - ideal for the days when you can't be bothered to THINK about what you create. Use these pages to focus on colour, experimenting with monochrome, or clashing or tonal colour combinations, blending and different media.
There are 70 arty prompts - enough to complete one project a week for 52 weeks plus some extras when you are bored.
Really Important Stuff
The rules are...... there are no rules.
Use this journal exactly as
you
please. You can write, draw, sketch, doodle or collage in your own unique style. Use pens, pencils, crayons, stickers, scraps of paper or fabric, embellishments..... it is completely up to you. There are no rules and no limts on your creativity. Just remember that if you use wet media like paint and marker pens it will probably bleed through the page, but I am sure you will find a creative way to deal with that (we have a few ideas in the hacks section of the journal.)
You do not have to complete the pages in order. The prompts are undated- have a flip through and see what takes your fancy- with 70 different prompts there are plenty to choose from!
Interpret the prompts your own way. There isn't a right or wrong way...... try something new, dare to be different or go with the flow......just unleash that creativity and go wild!
Who Is This Book For?
Human beings aged 6-106 who want to be more creative and want fun prompts to challenge themselves, or can never think of anything to draw!
The prompts are simple and open ended so are suitable for all levels of artistic ability.
The really boring bit
There are 140 pages of white paper printed with black ink
Available in premium soft paperback cover or hardcover versions.
The cover finish is matte so you can add your own colour or embellishments.
There are a couple of 'test pages' at the start of the book and a page on tips, tricks and hacks for completing the book, followed by 70 prompted arty projects.
6x9 inch compact journal size.
