Lana Taylor, born and raised near the beautiful, snowy Colorado Mountains, now finds herself moving to Florida. But this tropical paradise does not have her nearly as enthusiastic as one might expect. She's mortified to be uprooted from the only home she's ever known. What will life be like for this sophomore, transferring to an entirely new school halfway through the year? As Lana reluctantly attempts to settle into her new home and new, massive high school, she creates friendships from all areas of the spectrum.
