Three members of the 1968 Canadian Olympic boxing team and one reporter survive a plane crash on a deserted island, uncertain of what happened, where they are, or how they'll get home. They've settled for a night in the rainforest when one of the truths of the island reveals itself in the form of a dinosaur.
An American fishing vessel gets waylaid by a storm and finds themselves suddenly in calm waters, fighting off creatures much bigger than they're used to, before washing up on the shore of an island existing aside from the laws of time.
