Battling in the Western Theatre of the war as well, younger brother John A. Evans is slowly but surely working his way through the ranks of the 27th Ohio. And after a heavy loss soon stuns the Evans family, middle brother and Sergeant Richard D. Evans embarks on a path of retribution to deliver justice on his own accord.
