Buck Ryan is a crime adventure strip created by cartoonist Jack Monk and writer Don Freeman .
In Spain Buck Ryan appeared in the early 1950s in El Coyote magazine.
The birth of the series came when Monk and Freeman were forced to discontinue the adaptation of Edgar Wallace's story Terror Keep, which they published in the Daily Mirror newspaper, due to a copyright problem, and then decided to create their own. strip.
Buck, the protagonist of the series, is a young British private investigator. His antagonists are German thieves, kidnappers or spies, and among them Twilight stands out, an evil criminal who finally reforms, becoming Buck's partner in adventures.
Buck Ryan was published in the Daily Mirror from March 22, 1937 to July 1962. In 1949, the Australian label Atlas Publications published a collection of notebooks, first in landscape format and later vertical.
New edition of Israel Escamilla, with a legible cover and interior and renewed colors. They will be able to enjoy a better experience in this edition.
The comic reprints are reproduced from actual classic comics, and sometimes reflect the imperfection of books that are decades old. Many people enjoy these authentic characteristics.
