As a child growing up, if a relative that lives far away I had not seen for long periods of time; when we did go for a visit they would often comment: "Come closer, let me take a look at you. My how you've grown. I believe, whether you write or read a book, or any writings for that matter I pray the reader grows from the experience. Of course, I was physically born first to grow and learn to read and understand. Nicodemus, did not understand the concept of being born again, when Jesus made the statement that he had to be born again by the water and blood. Like Nicodemus, we too might not really understand the concept but Jesus said if we are not born again of the Spirit we cannot see the kingdom of heaven. So, we must be born of water, blood and spirit to grow from the spiritual readings and writings. I have been asked many times to write poems, lyrics, meditations, and skits for engagement parties, weddings, and the list becomes very long. However, I can truly say from this experience, "My, How I've grown spiritually."
