He did not see much hope for the future of farming, so he excelled in high school, college, and seminary. Some of the story of Tyisha is his story-especially the change the Lord made in her life is reflective of the change made in his own. He has been an ordained minister since 1979 and sees writing books as his ministry now. was born on the headwaters of the Rio Grande River in southern Colorado. She is the daughter of a former Warrant Officer in the United States Army and had no particular faith in God as a child. Her life of faith is a miracle and is the pattern used to show the transition in Tyisha's life from one of hopelessness to one of seeking and doing the will of God. Brent and Cheryl have been married for over 47 years.
