So it's completely out of character when she fails to read the fine print on a new client inquiry. She assumes the gooseneck trailer pulling up to her property is filled with horses.

Hudson Parker is new to town, but he isn't new to veterinary medicine. When he gets a late night call to check in on a sick animal, he prepares for an equine emergency, not for an animal he has only seen in Christmas folklore.
Why the reindeer are here is a mystery, as are the feelings he develops for the surly cowgirl. Daphne wants the reindeer gone, and she's equally unwelcoming toward Hudson.
But there's more to Daphne's story, and Hudson's curiosity is piqued. And when a message appears with clues to the animals' origins, they must work together to solve this particular reindeer game.
