This is volume I of II and contains the yearbooks for Cissna Park Community High School for the years 1924, 1926, and 1927. There was no yearbook for 1925. The covers have been cleaned and each page totally restored. Where typesetting was poor, or damaged, I cloned letters to make the text more readable. Every photo has been retouched and are better than those in the original books. The students in these books are young, proud, and innocent. The upperclassmen are looking toward graduation and bright futures. The grade school children are just beginning to learn about the world and maturing with each passing year. They, too, are dreaming of graduating and becoming successful, productive adults. While looking at these photos and reading their words of optimism, keep in mind this single thought, these students are going to fight and suffer the tragedies of WWII. War is the farthest thought passing through their minds. They are still innocent and vaguely understand the stories of their parents and teachers about The Great War.
