Ruby is the leader of the werewolf pack known as the Red Cloaks. They, along with the help of Ashton and their group now must travel to Ireland to stop the mad king, Khalid, from committing high treason at the G-Eight Summit. They are sought out by a fellow werewolf pack known as the Dagger Clan, led by Bradach O'Hara, who offer to help. A budding romance begins to develop between Ruby and Bradach and brings up trouble from Ruby's past. King Levias, Ruby's father, is given a second lease on life when Althena, the leader of the Coven, sends Ruby and Ashton into the past to capture the witch who is the mysterious mastermind behind their whole sordid past. Instead they return with Ruby's father and Khalid. Now it's up to the group to locate the witch, receiving help from a surprising source....the spirit of her twin sister who has taken possession of the young Seer Hayden. Things go awry, however, when both witches disappear and Hayden is left in a comatose state. The group's only lead to tracking down the witches are a pair of daggers once belonging to the twins...
