CLUE COMICS was Hillman Publishing's answer to the superhero filled anthology book. The early issues of CLUE COMICS contain some of the most interesting and unusual characters of the Golden Age: BOY KING AND THE GIANT – The Ruler of a European country who brings all his people to the US, abdicates his throne to become a crime-fighter, but keeps the royal robes and crown. ZIPPO – He's got wheels on his feet - - the great new patriot who fixes things right in a jiffy! NIGHTMARE AND SLEEPY – Nothing instills trust and confidence more than a duo dressed as a glow-in-the-dark skeleton and the grim reaper! MICRO-FACE – No, it's not a guy with a small face – he has X-ray glasses and a micro-phone amplified voice that can appear to come from anywhere! TWILIGHT –A private eye finds a mysterious card, a strange hairy suit with the letter "T" on it – and suddenly he's a Nazi-fighting hero! In later issues CLUE COMICS turned to a crime-based theme, but here in the first couple volumes, it's a superhero comic fest! THIS BOOK IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH HARDCOVER AND TRADE PAPERBACK EDITIONS AS WELL AS IN EITHER FULL COLOR OR BLACK & WHITE.
