Synopsis: 1. Knowing God personally through Prayer. I plan to share the learning experiences of praying extraordinary prayers and receiving extraordinary answers. There are levels of prayers believers pray and the depth of fellowship with God is dependent on a person's belief boundaries. 2. Knowing God personally through Obedience. Getting to know God as you know your friend beside you, involves interaction with Him. He will lead you to carry out "assignments". At times, these assignments may seem foolish, possibly having the potential for embarrassment, or just seem odd. These examples are for the purpose of learning obedience. (Just for the record, none of my assignments have caused any negative results.) People tend to think the worst when it comes to acting "outside of the box". 3. Knowing God personally through Connection. God is so pleased to get to know us personally, that He confirms His leadership through other believers. Encouragement gives an incentive to do and be involved with His activities. 4. Knowing God personally through Remembering who you are. A believer is a child of the Creator and Ruler of the Universe. Being a child of God carries many blessings, but also many responsibilities. 5. Knowing God personally through enhanced Faith. The above-mentioned steps of growth naturally cause an increase of faith and an ability to stay connected with God whatever circumstances happen in a believer's life. An added bonus to this process will without doubt cause God to give a "well done" response to the one who determines to follow God and know Him personally.
