Taken from a concert in the summer of 1994, this album serves as an excellent career overview for
singer/songwriter
Veronique Sanson
. Her gorgeous
pop
songs are performed by a number of guest musicians, including
Marc Lavoine
,
Alain Chamfort
Michel Fugain
, and others. But each song features
Sanson
somewhere, whether on keyboards or backing vocals or even right out in front singing. Her songs are given a moodier, more modern approach by the musicians here, creating some new versions of songs that were previously hindered by their dated production. Overall, this is a very rewarding concert that pays tribute to an excellent musician who has gone too long without international credit. ~ Bradley Torreano
