Excerpt from Commentar Über die Apostelgeschichte des Lukas Meine Arbeit ist mir dadurch erschwert worden, daß erst kurz vor dem Abschlusse des Manuskripts mir theologische Publikationen zugingen, welche Berücksichtigung erheischten, wie Schalten's hyper kritische Arbeit über das Paulinische Evangelium, Zimmer's sauber gearbeitete Monographie über das Verhältnis des Galaterbriefes zur Apostelgeschichte insbesondere ihr fünfzehntes Kapitel, und vornehm lich Schmidt's umfassende und breitangelegte Untersuchungen über die Glaubwürdigkeit der ag. Bd. I. Es war mir eben nur möglich diese und andere Arbeiten noch bei der Durchsicht der Korrekturbogen zu berücksichtigen und ich werde wohl kaum mit Unrecht besorgen, daß diese Nacharbeit an meinem Buche dessen Lesbarkeit nicht überall förderlich gewesen ist.
