Elio Alba Buffill (Cuba, 25 de abril de 1930-USA, 24 de agosto de 2017) fue Profesor Emérito de City University of New York, Kingsborough C. College y Secretario Ejecutivo del Círculo de Cultura Panamericana. Obtuvo un Doctorado en Derecho de la Univesidad de la Habana y un Master of Art de Rutgers The State University of New Jersey y un Doctorado en Filosofía de New York University. Pertenece a la Academia Norteamericana de la Lengua Española y a muchas otras instituciones académicas. Ha publicado numerosos libros de ensayos y crítica literaria.

Elio lba Buffill (Cuba, April 25, 1930-USA, August 24, 2017) was Professor Emeritus of the City University of New York, Kingsborough C. College and Executive Secretary of the Círculo de Cultura Panamericana. He obtained a Doctorate in Law from the University of Havana and a Master of Art from Rutgers The State University of New Jersey and a Doctorate in Philosophy from New York University. It belongs to the North American Academy of the Spanish Language and many other academic institutions. He has published numerous books of essays and literary criticism.
