An isolated young man named Kang (Kang-sheng Lee) lives alone in his large, luxurious home, feeling an encroaching sense of ennui as he gazes out at the surrounding forest, day after day. Meanwhile, amidst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, Non (Anong Houngheuangsy) works as a chef specializing in traditional fare from his remote village. Yet a brief encounter in a darkened hotel room awakens a passion neither man could have anticipated before they must return to the drudgery of their daily lives.
