The Burning of Desire is an 8 volume ongoing epic fool's journey through life in the United States, 1943-2023. It is one man's odyssey through political, social and cultural upheaval and the all-pervading influences of popular music, movies, television, books, art, grand ideas, sexual confusion and drugs - everything that turned the life. The pivotal moment of the journey occurs center stage at the defining political assassination of the 1960s. Book Four, 1980-1992, finds our fool still reeling from the blow, shedding old identities and trying on new ones, bending and twisting and turning toward meaning and dying all the little deaths along the way.
