Zombie outbreaks have been known to arise at anytime and anywhere..... work, the hospital, or the park. But what happens when a zombie attack occurs at the local middle school in a small rural town? The day for fourteen-year-old Drew Jacks could not get any worse. He was recently suspended from the baseball team, has a deadbeat mom, and always gets in trouble for sleeping in class. But the water is about to get boiling hot for Drew and the other students at Stoney Central Middle School when the zombie invasion hits close to home. When the attack does occur, Drew is accompanied by his life long crush and the girl who secretly admires him in an effort to make it home safely to his grandmother and sisters. However, the nightmare becomes real when Drew realizes that his quiet town is not up against the average zombie.
