This United States Army manual, Department of the Army Pamphlet DA PAM 600-60 Personnel-General: A Guide to Protocol September 2023, applies to the Regular Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated. During mobilization, procedures in this publication may be modified by the proponent. It conveys the Army standards of protocol customs and courtesies for distinguished visitors during official events, ceremonies, visits, conferences, official social functions, and meals.
