Many times, we start on an assignment that God has given us and never really get to the end because we are not wanting to take the possible detours. We don't want to slow down or stop. We want to continue to move forward, not realizing there are so many unforeseen problems ahead and not understanding that we are not prepared spiritually to make the journey safely. The detours that God gives us are there to help us avoid roadblocks that can stop us completely. They are there to help us through potential problems we will face on our journey. God is always working something out for our good.
