The Scripture that started this journey is, "Foreasmuch as you know you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver or gold, from the vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 1:18-19). I began to ask myself' What is that vain conversation received by tradition"? I have been taught and pursued four views of God and His intention for our lives. Each is true but dependent on the others for a complete understanding of our destiny in God. Each is inadequate without the others.
GOD IS THE:
DIVINE BUTLER (He is the indulgent Father).
DIVINE WATCHERMAKER (He has provided all we need. It's up to us to figure things out).
DIVINE LAWYER (He is the ultimate Judge).
DIVINE EMOPLOYER (We are His servants).
These devotions address the issues and inadequacies associated with singularly focusing our destiny on less than all four views
