This book was developed by a young Black male educator that after constantly observing the disparate outcomes & experiences of students, particularly Black males in U.S. public schools, decided to 'DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT' and start a school-based mentoring program. The formation of that small mentoring program in a rural SC classroom grew into a movement that replicated similar other successful mentoring programs for youth across the country. This book introduces to educators, school administrators, and other community organizers a step-by-step guide & framework to help them create a high impact, school-based mentoring program that is dynamic, practical, and certainly effective!
