DOLLY #10 was a one-shot wonder published by Ziff-Davis in the summer of 1951. Dolly and
her toy dog Charlie travel the lands of slumber encountering talking vegetation made of
candy, dragons and giants. What makes DOLLY #10 stand out are the lush illustrations by
artist Tex Blaisdell. Also included in this comic is a Sergeant Toy story drawn by David Gantz.
Take some Little Nemo, include a dash of Babes in Toyland then add some Looney Tunes
madness and you end up with the whimsically entertaining DOLLY #10 .
Have you ever seen or heard about a particular comic, but were disappointed knowing that,
since there was only one issue of the title, it would never be reprinted? Well, Retro Comic
Reprints One-Shot Wonders are here to help! The mission of RCR One-Shot Wonders is to
make individual public domain comic books, whose titles didn't last long enough to be
collected as a series, accessible in print again. You are welcome to send me suggestions for
public domain comics that only lasted a single issue. The best way to have your title added
to the list is to email me at
