After volunteering to read the Bible with residents of St.Elizabeth's Home on the Hill, Julia Jones soon becomes Activities Director with the encouragement of Mother Anne, supervisor. Retired Dr. Paul Peterson works with Julia by visiting with the residents. When Dr. Peterson is offered health director of an orphanage in southern Mexico he asks Julia to be his assistant. The children love Paul and Julia as 'adopted parents' and soon are much happier and healthier. Regardless of all the joy, tragedy strikes. With the faith they both have in God, they are able to overcome many problems. The secluded Indians living in the mountains that surround the orphanage are frequent patients. Julia and Paul show how two Christian people can give their lives to those in need. God opens many doors for them and Julia finds her destiny.
