Drew the Drone tells the tale of a stalwart Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) who must use acumen and teamwork to accomplish his mission of preventing an evil enemy from carrying out an attack. When Drew discovers a terrorist base, he requests support and Priscilla the Predator joins his endeavor. But when Prescilla's overly aggressive justification for striking the enemy conflicts with Drew's better judgment, he must use empathy to teach his teammate about doing the right thing; ethics and avoiding disproportionate use of force in counterinsurgency. Alex Deardorff was born in Newton, New Hampshire, and began writing Drew the Drone while serving on active duty as an army offi cer. He has served within Special Operations Command (SOCOM), 10th Mountain Division, 75th Ranger Regiment, and the U.S. Army Reserve. Alex holds a B.A. in Middle East Studies and Political Science from Fordham University and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire.
