A specialty of southern France, confit is a traditional method of preserving meat by curing it with salt and spices, then slow-cooking it in rendered fat – with meltingly succulent, exceptionally flavorful results. The process can take weeks or months, but our confit duck legs eliminate the wait. Made by Joe Jurgielewicz & Son of Pennsylvania, the delicacy is prepared with locally raised Pekin duck (the same breed used to make Peking Duck), pure duck fat and authentic French seasonings. The confit arrives ready to eat or add to salads, tacos, Asian dishes and more.
