Alternating between piano and vibes, leads a quintet that includes , , and , featuring enjoyable interpretations of and 's still fairly new the latter of which focuses on 's vibes and 's muted trumpet, with switching to the piano. Each of the originals by is stimulating, although they have undeservedly languished in obscurity. Recorded for the long-defunct label, reissued this forgotten treasure on CD in 1992. ~ Ken Dryden
