The idea of encouraging young writers to engage with issues and with concepts far removed from what one would normally expect them to confront at their age is highly commendable.
As an English language editor I encountered some difficulty in understanding the intention of some of the writing and, obviously, until this is clearly understood, one cannot begin to tailor the language to provide for a suitable English language expression of this intention. My attempt was not to impose content on the writing but to offer suggestions to make the material readable for the average English language reader, Of course There is no such creature as an average English language reader, so I attempted to infer the likely readership from the writing itself. What this revealed is that the writing quality varies from Junior High School level in writing such as:
They say we live in the world of truth. At the same time they say truth is what hurts, yes Philosophy is the truth of life, but, to me, my truth is myself because I believe in from the quote, "No one knows me better than myself".
To post-doctoral level in writing such as:
The lyrics of the African Renaissance perforate the black porosities and become filtrate for the glomerulus of youth to mentally excrete inferiority complexes that tarnished their native inherent dignity".
