The Callender brothers, members of the Bloodhound club, possess a great curiosity and adventurous spirit. When their father is elected director of an exhibition in Paris, they are delighted to spend a vacation there. Though when they arrive, they come to find that the Seated Scribe, the masterpiece of the exhibition, is nothing more than an imitation.
