Escape From Hell
, Bot recounts his time after leaving Angola State Penitentiary, better known as Hell in Bot's words. After fighting to survive in prison and with little hope he would ever get out, Bot unexpectedly received an early release on parole.
Once he returned home, Bot used the work skills he gained during his prison time. These skills helped him rise through the ranks of the oil and gas industry, starting off as a welder and eventually opening his own inspection business. His work in the oilfield gave him the opportunity to travel the world, including an especially memorable trip to Israel.
Bot had a second chance at love when he met Lou, his friend Mot's sister. Lou and Bot raised their children as Bot worked to provide for them. Lou remained by Bot's side, traveling with him at times and eventually joining him in his inspection business. They enjoyed a long life and had many great times together.
Bot hopes his story can show that despite a person's past, second chances are possible.
