Born in 1936 in Minsk, the capital city of Belorussia, an engineer by education, I went through the three immigration. Living in the United States and being in the Golden years of life, I found time to write the trilogy of recollections. In this, the second book of the trilogy, I am showing to the future descendants the conditions of life of the ordinary Jewish family in the country, known to everybody on the planet as the Soviet Union. As a witness and a survivor of the Holocaust, I went through numerous tormented events during the postwar period, when the Jewish population was a subject to the insult, humiliation, and murder by Stalin's hangman. The world knew not so much about the real situation in this country where people lived behind the "Iron Curtain." In today's world of the uncertainty, it is worth to learn the past.
