From 2007 through 2010, Klamath Bird Observatory, in partnership with the Klamath Inventory and Monitoring Network (KLMN) of the National Park Service, completed the establishment of survey sites for the Klamath Network: Landbird Monitoring Protocol. Landbird monitoring contributes to the vital signs monitoring program that has been developed by the KLMN. This report provides an overview of the study design and sampling frame selection, outlines the process of site development using ArcGIS, and describes the process of monumenting sites in the field.
