Nicky is a woman that has scars from an abusive marriage, so she has hidden herself and her heart. She is a full figured woman, with skin the color of tar. She becomes the object of new age bullying, obsession, and abuse. She never thought that her curiosity about the internet would turn her world upside down in a violent way. Her best friend helps her to open up to a new world and new encounters. She is often ridiculed by her friends because of her life of celibacy and interrupted by many phone calls and conversations of love and passion. Vanna, her "BFF" is a strong force in her life, however, she is also a wrinkle chaser, in other words, she loves men that are older than dirt and very wealthy. She also keeps Nicky laughing about her elderly sex life. While Nicky is dealing with her own issues, she also has to deal with all her friend's drama, their escapades, and their relationships. Nicky, a daycare provider, has to deal with bar arguments, a crazy but funny mother, two kids of her own, horny friends, crazy and dangerous internet encounters and deaths. Her strength is depleted because of tragedy but her faith is increase because of love, the love that came to replenish.
