When God called to Moses out of the burning bush, telling him to free the Israelites from bondage in Egypt, Moses asked: "If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' what shall I say to them (Exodus 3:13)?" God answered Moses enigmatically, "I am who I am (Exodus 3:14)," which can also be translated as "I shall be what I shall be." To be found in this book is a culture of a people (Israelites) and how they functioned during the time of Jesus, the Apostles, and how God created his own race of People within the Torah and the Commandments.
