Following his last delivery, Travis retires to the mountains of Tennessee. Unfortunately, hiding from his new life as the Rift's most wanted, the Covenant's last transporter, and an angelic aberration proves impossible. However, for Simon Lajudas, a wealthy and ruthless collector, Travis is an integral part in bringing his recently deceased wife back from the afterlife. He recruits a band of rogue angels known as the Amissa in pursuit of their mutually coveted treasure - the keys to Heaven. But as Simon and the Amissa tear a path through the Rift's storehouses in search of these keys, war breaks out, angels clash, and the promise of the afterlife reveals something darker than they ever anticipated.
